Medb's Encampment

In the days just before the turn of the first millennium of record, there was born in Eire in the kingdom of Connacht, Meadhbh, daughter to Eochaid, ruler of the land. She was to become known throughout the ages as the legendary warrior queen reputed to have conducted the longest internecine war in the annals of Eire's history.

Today Medb opens her doors and her heart to you, our visitors, with the warmth and hospitality which has long been the hallmark of Celtic homes. Come visit her derbfine and see the Eire of her time as she and her clan enchant you with their magic.

We bid you enter the circle to meet the family. Together as a non-profit corporation for 25 years, ours is a joyous family unit. We are well known throughout the Western United States for our exciting re-creations of the life and times of our ancient forbearers. At Faires and Festivals, our derbfine provides a cool and welcoming haven where weary time travelers can find sanctuary.
